We are pleased to announce that Assistant Professor Paul Kaufmann will be moving to a W2 professorship at the Westphalian higher education institution in Gelsenkirchen, Bocholt, and Recklinghausen as of September 1, 2021. Paul Kaufmann held a junior professorship for Computational Intelligence at JGU from October 1, 2017, to August 30, 2021. At the Westphalian higher education institution, he will focus on the topics of embedded systems and AI.
